IMAGINE the healing power of art and wishes.

Art in Action, in partnership with the Kids & Art Foundation, invites you to a heartwarming community gathering that combines the commemoration of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with the debut of our new lesson inspired by Yoko Ono's Wish Trees.

Now is your chance to be part of a community art installation - make a wish and add it to the lovely maple trees to bring more color and love into downtown Redwood City, and the world. IMAGINE the healing power of art and wishes.

#Give300Art Accelerator Campagin

This project will provide ten under resourced classrooms with arts education for a full academic year. Art is an equalizer and is shown to enhance student performance in core curricular areas. Art develops tools for self expression and ignites students with actionable curiosity for innovation. There are six million students in the United States with no access to an arts education. Support the expansion of arts education, and grant a space for creative exploration for 300 students.
