This week's successes | There are four winners and three prize updates to report this week…
It was great to hear from Alex who emailed to let us know they won the Sainsbury’s comp we featured in the Sunday emails a couple of weeks ago. Their full prize is a pair of tickets to The Mousetrap & an overnight stay at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London.
Kerry was announced as the lucky winner of the long-running Ricola competition which was also featured in the Sunday emails and which closed in September. She’s won a £1,300 travel voucher to spend on a trip to Switzerland and a year’s supply of Ricola sweets.
Someone who’s asked to remain anonymous has won the STIHL competition from a Sunday email in September to win a £1,000 National Trust Holidays voucher & £1,000 STIHL tools voucher): “I've been entering competitions via Stuart's Sunday morning email for around 5 years. I took the view that sometime, one day, it would be my day. That day finally happened in September this year. I’ve just booked a stay in a very nice looking National Trust location in the south of England next summer. Keep the faith, everyone.”
Carrie-Lou was another lucky winner a couple of days ago: “With huge thanks… I just got an email (from Drifters) telling me I won a £1000 Canal Boat holiday to be taken by the end of May! Very pleased! I have been so very lucky as I have a trip to Sarasota Florida that I won earlier this year to be taken early May; my husband’s having all the kids while I go with my brother. Then going to come home, have two days washing clothes lol, grab the kids and then go on a canal boat holiday! Thank you!! Our hobby is the best.”
PRIZEWINNER UPDATES
Laura messaged to let us know she’d enjoyed a stay in Cambridge: “I was lucky enough to win an overnight stay with breakfast at University Arms, Cambridge… a bottle of limited edition gin and a cocktail making class from Cambridge Gin Laboratory which we booked for a few weeks back! My husband & I had a fantastic time and enjoyed being back in Cambridge for the first time in nearly 10 years! Thank you to everyone who shares these competitions and good luck to everyone still on the hunt for their first win!”
Caroline got in touch to let us know that she'd just returned from a wonderful break in Malaga that she booked after winning a £1,000 EasyJet voucher earlier in the year: "It’s a wonderful city with lots to see & do plus a great culture... Thanks again, it was my first win & I will certainly keep trying!!"
And last but not least, Lisa updated us on a Johansens win from a competition we featured back in April: “Just returned from an amazing trip to Porto which I won through Condé Nast Johansens. I stayed at the amazing The Lodge Hotel. We also did a trip to the Douro Valley for wine tasting… Memories to last a lifetime.”
