Our training course HSE Inspectors' Guide to Electrical Safety is being held live online over 2 half-days on 17 and 18 June. This paid-for course will give you a practical understanding of what our inspectors are looking for in the control of general electrical safety risks. The business owner has been jailed for 10 years and 6 months for gross negligence manslaughter. A joint investigation by Dyfed-Powys Police and HSE found that the business owner was not correctly qualified to lead a stand-up paddle board river tour. Despite severe weather warnings and flooding, the owner led the unqualified river tour without checking the hazardous weir or providing safety briefings.
