| S.C. sites added to historic network Benedict College, Allen University and S.C. State University are among eight S.C. sites added to the Reconstruction Era National Historic Network, launched by the National Parks Service. Helping Out Nov. 25, 2020 Lowcountry families can drop off letters to Santa through Dec. 18 at Freshfields Village’s special mailbox. For each letter received, Freshfields Village will donate $5 to the Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center.
