SC Launch provided $200,000 to a startup that helps fundraisers and donors connect online. The company, which received nearly $2 million last year in a round of investment financing, was started by CEO Nick Black and President Jeremy Berman.

Health Care Heroes honorees named for 2020

Health Care Heroes honors the professionals and volunteers for health care, first responder, research and other areas. Goose Creek, Dorchester County receive grants

Goose Creek and Dorchester County were among the counties and municipalities receiving a total of $13 million in grants for infrastructure improvements from the S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority for fiscal year 2021.

Helping Out

The Lowcountry Food Bank announced a $12,000 matching gift challenge by Dean and Laurie Hubbs to celebrate and support Veterans Day. The goal for this dollar-for-dollar match is to raise $24,000.
