Coastal Corrugated acquired by N.C.-based company

North Charleston-based Coastal Corrugated Inc. has been acquired by Atlantic Packaging, based in Wilmington, N.C. Atlantic has 18 regional facilities, including an existing location on Spaniel Lane in Summerville.

Lowe breaks ground on new hotel, announces regional office

Real estate firm Lowe broke ground on its new waterfront hotel in downtown Charleston. The Cooper is expected to open in 2022 and will include 225 guest rooms, plus retail and event space. The developer also said it would open a Southeast regional office in Charleston to support its growth.

Harbour Club launching business breakfast event

Public relations specialist Whitney McDuff and Charleston Instagram influencer Venita Aspen are launching the first of a series of monthly business-related discussions on Thursday at the Harbour Club in downtown Charleston.

​The fifth annual Charleston Tillman Honor Run, honoring Pat Tillman, is taking place April 25 at Volvo Car Stadium on Daniel Island, held by the Arizona State University S.C. Alumni Club. Race registration is now open. Cost is $10 for kids and $40 for adults.
