Final inspection report shows several ‘major issues’ at MUSC children’s hospital

A final inspection by S.C. DHEC showed there are still “major issues of concern” at the new MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Pearl Tourville Women’s Pavilion. The opening date has been delayed for a second time, and the hospital’s contractor is working to address final issues.

Charleston housing market projected among top 10 for next 3 to 5 years

Charleston is expected to be among the top 10 markets for the next three to five years, according to the National Association of Realtors, based on housing affordability, consistent job growth and domestic migration, among other factors. Charleston was the only market in the state to be named to the list.
