Thieves have targeted the home of a Limavady grandmother while she was undergoing brain surgery in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital.

Police searching for missing Portadown man Norman Prentice have discovered a body in the Corcrain area of the town today (Saturday, February 3).

Armed response officers arrested a man in Belfast on Friday after receiving reports of an aggressive male armed with a machete on the street.
