Inspiration Behind the Choose Life Designs

In Deuteronomy 30:19, Moses, God’s Prophet gave the Israelites a choice. Moses said, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now Choose Life, so that you and your children may live.” God had made a covenant with the Israelites and He forewarned them that if they were obedient to His laws, they would be blessed, but if they chose to be disobedient, they would be cursed.

Today God is calling all peoples on the earth to Choose Life. The image of a baby in the Choose Life design symbolizes life. I added a baby in the design because several years earlier, God had given me a dream that I had a new baby. At first, I thought that I was going to literally have another baby, but God showed me that He was going to give my children and I a new life. I was thinking evangelism when I first created the design. How does one Choose Life? You Choose Life by choosing to receive Jesus as your Lord and your Savior. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. It is a choice. One either chooses him or not. No one can take away our power to choose. God had also showed me in a dream that an individual had a certain choice to make. The person was at a crossroads and on his left, there were others calling him to come their way and I was at the other side of the person, pleading Choose Life. So that was my intention of creating the Choose Life design.

However, right after the design was created, the Abortion controversy with New York state and several other states making abortion legal, up to term exploded. And then I understood what God was doing. It all tied in. God is calling people to both Choose Life by choosing Jesus and to choose life for a baby in the womb.

I know as humans, we can deceive ourselves by saying a fetus is not a real person, but God the Creator says a fetus is a human being, created in His image. The Psalmist David said in Psalm 139:13, “You did form my inward parts. You did knit me together in my mother’s womb.” A baby in the womb is made in the image of God and is a real human being, a real person.

On account of abortion being legalized, many women have been deceived into aborting their babies. God still loves these women and He is calling them to Choose Life, to choose to receive His Son Jesus Christ, so that their sins can be covered and atoned for under Jesus’ blood that was shed for them. Acts 3:19 says, “So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return (to God), that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord, (AMPC).

I added a second design to the Choose Life Collection; Choose Life 2.0 with the image of a cross instead of a baby. The cross symbolizes the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the redeeming benefits of his death and resurrection. The Choose Life 2.0 designs says it all...Choose Life and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and Choose Life for a baby in the womb. Be a voice for the gospel. Wear Scriptures.
