Disco for people with a disability returns after coronavirus shutdown

Every Tuesday night, volunteers would transform the Palmerston Community Centre hall into the NRG disco, complete with dozens of swirling lights and a pumping sound system.
But in March the hall fell silent, as the disco was forced to shut its doors due to social distancing requirements. With Canberra's coronavirus restrictions beginning to lift, the disco is now back up and running, providing a vital social outlet allowing even the most reserved of people to come out of their shells.

Fight for Planet A with Craig Reucassel and Lish Fejer

He fought the War on Waste and now Craig Reucassel is back, tackling one of our biggest challenges, climate change.
To discuss the new three-part documentary, Craig will co-host Breakfast with Lish Fejer on Tuesday 11 August from 8.30am ahead of the first episode of the series.

Craig and Lish will share tips on how you can reduce your carbon footprint at home, work and school and answer your climate change questions.
Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge explores how we can all reduce our individual and collective carbon emissions.

Take part in Canberra's satellite selfie!

Have you ever taken a selfie? What if you could take one from space?
During National Science Week, a satellite will fly over the ACT and surrounding areas three times on Mon Aug 17, Wed Aug 19, and
Fri Aug 21 between 10am and 11am to create a time-capsule image of Australia's Capital from above.
