A message from the chief executive: Dear Reds Family, I am delighted to write to our Queensland Reds Family to officially welcome you all to celebrate this lift-off, whether you are at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night or watching the match against the NSW Waratahs on Channel Nine or Stan Sports. While the challenges of 2023 have been well documented, 2024 is all about a New Era for the Queensland Reds. Les Kiss is set to coach his first Super Rugby game this Saturday while Grant Anderson is set to steer the Super W team when they kick off in a month's time. Both will enjoy an injection of exciting talent from our strong Queensland pathways to couple with experienced players. We also welcome a New Principal Partner – BMS Group. The new Ballymore, with the BMS National Rugby Training Centre at its core, is thriving. The precinct has already welcomed more than 40,000 fans, players, staff, visitors and function guests since the middle of last year. There are strong reasons to be positive on and off the field. Under the new “Reds Way”, you will see a game model and aligned values across our teams and wider organisation. You will see: • A team that knows what it takes to win • A hard team to breakdown • A difficult team to work out A team always on and players asking themselves how we are being useful. A team built on the values of care, connection and challenge On behalf of Queensland Rugby, thank you for your ongoing support. It’s a New Era on field and we’re ready to deliver for Queensland.
