For more than a century, the Forward has dug into the stories, news, and conversations that matter to the American Jewish community. We want to do more than keep you informed — we also want to connect you to stories that make you think, ask questions, and help you grow.

It’s not just our community of readers that sees how important the Forward’s work can be: the journalism world took notice, too. This year, the Forward received an unprecedented thirty-four Rockower Awards from the American Jewish Press Association honoring our groundbreaking work in 2020.

These stories took diligence, creativity and dedication, none of which would have been possible without the support of our donors, who fuel this fiercely independent Jewish journalism every day.
