With over 200 stalls and open from 28th November – 15th December, Bath Christmas Market is a magical event that transforms the city into a festive wonderland. It's one of the most popular Christmas markets in the UK, attracting visitors from all over the country – look out for the stall encrusted in dried oranges, cloves and pinecones! The city’s stunning Georgian architecture is unique, so make the most of your time here with a visit to the Royal Crescent, or how about a trip to one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe - the Roman Baths?
Situated just outside the town hall, Chester Christmas Market brings seasonal cheer and fills the streets with twinkling lights, Christmas music, and the aroma of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. With over 70 stalls, it opens from 15th November until 22nd December 2024. Make your trip even more festive with a tour of the nearby Chester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival!
We couldn’t choose our favourite Christmas market in the Cotswolds as the picturesque, chocolate box villages couldn’t be more festive! There’s Chipping Campden’s stalls in the Market Square, complete with Santa’s Grotto, or late-night shopping in Broadway to name a few. Or for something extra special, the Blenheim Palace Christmas Festival is a great place to pick up some unique gifts.
One of the UK’s most festive cities, enjoy the Christmas cheer at the York Christmas Festival. All the restaurants, shops and attractions are decorated, and from 14th November to 22nd December, 75 alpine chalets line the streets, offering a magical array of local crafts, artisan products and delicious seasonal treats. The vintage carousel on King’s square just adds even more to the atmosphere!
Scotland’s capital is a great place to visit at any time of year, but there’s something extra special about visiting over the Christmas period. At the heart of the city centre, with a spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the traditional Christmas market hosts over 70 stalls, brimming with bespoke products and tasty treats. It’s also the home of the LNER Big Wheel, Scotland’s largest Ferris wheel, offering stunning and unique views of the city.
