Dear Voornaam, Thank you to everyone who attended the 2022 Oregon Summit in Sunriver or watched the event livestreamed online. It was a beautiful, inspiring weekend, and I will carry it in my heart as we move forward together in our fight for a better Oregon. On Sunday morning at the Summit, the Democratic Party of Oregon hosted a governorâs forum featuring qualifying Democratic candidates (in alphabetical last name order): Tina Kotek, Tobias Read, and Patrick Starnes.
The conversation was deeply informative. The candidates shared compelling ideas and innovative solutions to many of the issues on the minds of Oregon voters. We're proud to have hosted this event and glad we can now offer it to view online. PS - All Democratic candidates for governor were invited to qualify for participation in the forum. The requirements to qualify were as follows: The candidate must have set up a campaign account with the Oregon Secretary of State and reported in ORESTAR. The candidate must have deposited at least $35,000 into their campaign account as reported in ORESTAR. The candidate must have received at least 100 individual campaign donations of $50 or less from 100 different individuals residing in Oregon. The candidate must have collected âsignaturesâ from 250 registered Oregon Democrats on an individualized online DPO petition supporting the candidateâs participation in the forum. | ||||
