The fight over who will replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsbergis growing in intensity. Governor Tim Walz has ordered flags around the state at half staff through Ginsberg's funera.St. Paul and Minneapolis mayors have declared today Ruth Bader Ginsberg Day.  Minnesotans gathered at Boom Island Park last night to honor Ginsberg. Photo journalist Caroline Yang was there and shared these photos of the vigil.  

Biden calls on 'handful' of Republicans to hold off on Supreme Court nominee Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Sunday asked Republicans to "follow your conscience" and not consider a nominee until after the election. (NPR)

Poll: Most young Americans prefer Biden, but Trump backers are more enthusiastic The survey also finds that far more Americans under 30 say they'll "definitely" be voting than said the same in 2016. ( NPR)

Former Vice President Joe Biden plans to campaign Monday in northeast Wisconsin for his second visit to the state in two weeks.  "Biden's campaign announced Sunday that the Democratic presidential nominee would be campaigning in Manitowoc, a city of about 32,000 that's on the shores of Lake Michigan about 80 miles north of Milwaukee.
Biden is coming back to the state as the number of COVID-19 cases has topped 100,000, which he referred to in a statement as a 'grim milestone.'" (WPR/AP)
