X marks the spot: Multi-millionaire’s buried treasure found in the Rockies When you have more money and time than you know what to do with, what’s the best way to stave off boredom? For some, retail therapy is the only choice. For others, travel is a better option. But one man, Mr. Forrest Fenn of Santa Fe, New Mexico, had a better idea: Take pieces from his collection of priceless treasures and bury them in a chest for someone to find. As an artifact’s dealer, Mr. Fenn was able to include some extremely valuable items in the chest, but for the past decade, nobody was able to find it. But this week, Mr. Fenn finally received a call from someone who had found the treasure and recovered it. The chest was located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, and the only clues to its whereabouts were found in a cryptic poem included in Mr. Fenn’s autobiography “The Thrill of the Chase.” How is this not a Nicolas Cage movie yet? Can you solve this buried treasure riddle for yourself? Tap or click here to try and solve this clever brainteaser. → |
