| Hi John, One of the biggest challenges facing the Hydro market is a changing workforce. More professionals than ever before are joining the industry ... some are recent graduates; others are long-time professionals, but new to hydro. If you find yourself or a colleague in one of these positions, you are probably needing to get up to speed quickly. We can help. A group of hydro professionals and PennWell have formed the Hydro Training Institute. This institute offers a two-day intensive "hydro 101" course called: Waterpower® Hydro Basics. Clicking on this link will give you everything you need to plan your attendance. You'll see there's even a tour of a hydro plant in Denver, exclusively arranged for course attendees. And, you'll earn 15 professional development hours (PDH) credits by attending the course. The Waterpower® Hydro Basics course is designed with YOUR career in mind, with several different sessions tailored to the basics of the hydro industry. The course is co-located with HydroVision International, held the week of June 26 in Denver, Colorado, in the United States. Most course participants also attend HydroVision International. The course, plus the HydroVision conference and exhibition gives you a week worth of education, networking, and opportunity to do business. I really hope that you take the time to check these items out. I really think it would be beneficial for you to come and attend the Largest Hydro Event in the world! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. See you at HydroVision International 2017!
