Entitlement is a thorny word — and it’s one we’ve seen crop up a lot in the media in the past few years. Entitlement ranges from tiny, daily acts of spoiled-ness to parents outright bribing schools to get their kids into college.
Of course, most parents don’t set out to raise an entitled kid, but there are certain common mistakes, experts say, that parents and caregivers unintentionally make over the years that can lead to a child growing up with a sense that something is owed to them.
