Walmart Health plans to double in size in 2024

The company plans to open 28 locations, expanding into two new states – Missouri and Arizona.

New locations will incorporate feedback from patients, including changing the physical footprint and layout of the center so patients spend less time in the waiting room and more time with their doctor. The centers will also integrate the Epic electronic health record system.

As Dollar Tree increases prices, study throws shade on strategies

Traffic is down at the discount store, but profits are up due to Plus program.

Hy-Vee ends employee discount, citing fraud

The company had evidence of “multiple employees having multiple families or households in various cities and various states using the discount.”.

According to a report on KCCI, the retailer found one example of an employee’s discount being used in five different states within an hour, and also found evidence that items were being bought using the discount and then resold. The West Des Moines, Iowa-based retailer said it plans to revamp the program during the coming weeks.
