 ABC Radio Perth hosted 'A Day at the Museum' on Thursday 26 November, with all programs broadcasting live from the new WA Museum Boola Bardip. Fifty ABC Radio Perth listeners watched Russell Woolf and Nadia Mistopoulos host the Breakfast program from within the Museum, stationed between the popular 'Wild Life' and 'Connections' galleries. The Breakfast team spoke with linguist Daniel Midgley about the meaning of the Museum's 'Boola Bardip' name and how dual naming helps preserve Aboriginal language. Geoff Hutchison spoke with WA Museum board member and Noongar woman Carol Innes on Drive, capturing her emotional reaction to a landmark native title ruling in the High Court.
