Employers are increasingly asking job candidates to demonstrate software training and other skills for entry-level positions such as cashiers and sales floor support jobs, an analysis by Burning Glass Technologies finds. "The bottom may be coming out of the career ladder," said Matt Sigelman, CEO of Burning Glass.

Pluto may actually be billions of comets that have smashed together, according to a research paper by Southwest Research Institute scientists. Data from the European Space Agency's Rosetta mission showed consistency between the estimated nitrogen levels of Pluto's Sputnik Planitia glacier and the levels to be expected if Pluto formed from a billion comets or more, according to Christopher Glein, lead author of the study.
