Good afternoon, A further 101 positive coronavirus cases were confirmed yesterday as the First Minister warned that the virus is "spreading again" here in Scotland. Nicola Sturgeon said provisional information suggests more than half of these new cases are in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. And she said the R number - the average number of people estimated to be infected by one other infectious person - is now "probably" above one and possibly as high as 1.4. She stressed that the virus prevalence in Scotland remains low but should serve as a reminder that the virus is "spreading again here," just as it is elsewhere in the UK, across Europe and the wider world.
