December 4 6 - 9pm Are your kids ready for a night out? Bring them to the Jewett Park Community Center for an evening of supervised, socially distanced fun of creating their own vehicle out of a cardboard box with prepackaged supplies for our drive-in movie! Individually packaged slices of pizza will be provided for dinner with a small bottle of water. Masks are required for staff and participants for the duration of the program, except for dinner. Staff will ensure all participants are spaced a minimum of 6ft apart during dinner and while creating their vehicle and watching the movie.
RoboThink Family Battle Royale Workshop December 5 10am - 12pm Have fun with your family and learn how to build robots, then battle your creations against other robots in our exciting workshop! Price is based on a team of two consisting of one adult and one child up to 12 years of age. December 19 1-3:00pm Leave your mark, on our park! The earth is your canvas in this outdoor workshop that will give participants an opportunity to create a masterpiece out of nature’s elements. Materials used for the project will vary based on what natural elements are discovered in the park. Elements may include rocks, sticks, leaves and even snow! Hot chocolate will be available to help keep our artists warm.
