The current COVID-19 pandemic raises critical clinical questions and challenges for health professionals seeking to continue optimal care for cancer patients. With health systems under increasing pressure, there is an urgent need to share, synergise and connect knowledge and resources. The Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network (VCCN) is a joint initiative of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre alliance and Monash Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC). The network aims to provide support and advice to clinicians and health care services treating patients with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health professionals are invited to collaborate on a digital platform for discussion, information and support, as the pandemic progresses. Membership of the VCCN is open to health professionals working with cancer patients. To join, please complete the registration form via SurveyMonkey. The VCCN offers: Strategic initiatives to guide and optimise care for patients with cancer Curated information and guidance for practitioners Specialised channels for various tumour streams and interest areas, for example cancer clinical trials, telehealth and haematology Forums for shared problem solving, support and conversations The VCCC and MPCCC have developed this collaboration platform to provide assistance and share documentation generally related to the care of patients with cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The VCCC and MPCCC are not responsible for any particular outcome or result arising from the information provided, decisions made, advice given or action taken as a consequence. Each party should consider their own circumstances and responsibility for the endorsement or adoption of any information or advice. See the Victorian COVID-19 Cancer Network webpage for more information about the network governance and development.
