The 26 officers in question made more than $1 million combined last year in detail work, our John Simerman reports.
Hi-profile pitchman: Developers pitching a $325 million casino-resort in the Slidell area rolled out a big name supporter this week – Drew Brees. The surefire Hall of Fame Saints quarterback, now a TV guy for NBC, was in a video for the casino developers touting the sports complex the casino has promised to bankroll -- if St. Tammany voters give the casino a thumbs-up next month.
