Rep. Jon Standard resigns from Utah House

In an early morning closed caucus meeting, House Republicans were informed that Rep. Jon Stanard, R-St. George, had resigned immediately from the Utah Legislature effective immediately.

Representatives were told that Stanard was stepping down for "personal and family" reasons, and were warned not to speculate about what his reasons were.
