Sklyer Beltran is the convention nominee for county commissioner and will face Jay Ugarte, who gathered signatures, in the June primary. Lisa Shepherd is the party nominee for HD61 and will face Provo City Councilman Travis Hoban in the primary and in HD58, David Shallenberger is the party nominee and will face Holly Sweeten in the primary. Delegates also passed a resolution calling for Utah to resign from the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC). Rapid relevance Utahns show overwhelming support for NHL with nearly 20,000 season ticket deposits; President Nelson, in a surprise appearance, rededicates the historic Manti Utah Temple; and hundreds hit the pavement for the Salt Lake City Marathon on Saturday.
