| Hey, Today is Black Friday. And, if you’re a smart marketer, then you’re geared up to run some epic promotions to drive more customers and revenue into your business. To fix this mistake, you need to speak to your audience like they’re in the room with you and enter the conversation in your prospect’s mind. Remember, people only care about the “WIIFM” factor--what’s in it for me? So speak to their self interest – what problems are they facing in their business? With their health? In their relationships? And how can YOU help them solve those problems? When you can enter the conversation in their mind and address their fears, wants, and needs better than they can themselves...they’ll assume you must have the solution. 2. Not Using a Call to Action The ONLY way to generate iPhone income and make money with Instagram is...wait for it...to ASK for the sale. The “CTA” is what turns followers into dollars and helps you bump up your EPF (earnings per follower)
Without a call to action, you aren’t making a sale. End of story. Luckily, crafting a killer CTA is simple… Tell them exactly WHAT they get (your offer)
Tell them exactly HOW they can get it – ex. “swipe up, comment below, DM me.” (HOT TIP Give just ONE thing for them to do, don’t leave it as a choice between options)
Tell them exactly WHY they must get it now, rather than next Tuesday. That’s it. If you will implement this CTA during your Holiday promos, I can promise you’ll see a HUGE spike in your sales. 3. Weak Follow Up Game Perhaps the deadliest sin of all, and where I see the most missed opportunities, is in the follow up. Here your hard work pays off...or is wasted altogether. You’ve caught someone’s attention, they reached out to you with a question, but the conversation went cold. And it’s up to YOU to warm it back up and get them to take action on your offer. Remember, your prospects are busy. And there are millions of reasons they could have dropped off– maybe a phone call came in, work got busy, their kid needed help… ...Or maybe they do have something holding them back that you could easily overcome by providing more information or different options. You have an important service they need. It could change their life, save their marriage, or even save their life. Be politely persistent, engage your prospects by asking questions about their situation and challenges.
