USDA Invests $83 Million in Boosting Fertilizer Availability

The company recently opened the new Venburg Wing at its Melnik and Shafer Biorational Research Center in Libertyville, Ill., while the expansion of its Osage, Iowa facility is expected to be completed in early 2025.

The grants are intended to increase domestic fertilizer production, strengthen competition and lower costs for U.S. farmers.

The program consists of expert agronomy forecasts, high-quality seeds and seed advising, regular visits to review soil and crop health and help identifying market opportunities.
