Dear Friend, There are hours left before our critical year-end deadline, and we’re still behind on our goal. We need to be prepared for the legal battles ahead. Our opponents are well-funded, and they are not slowing down their efforts to suppress your speech or police how you live out your faith.
In some cases, they want to coerce you to echo the state’s narrative or silence your own viewpoint if they disagree with it. Just ask Kaley Chiles. When she became a counselor, she didn’t think the government would be sitting in on her private conversations with clients. But a law in Colorado effectively gives state officials a seat in her office, where she and her vulnerable clients deserve privacy. The law bars her from saying anything that goes against the government’s biased ideology about gender identity and sexual orientation in conversations with minor clients. She could face extreme fines and even lose her license if she goes against the government line. This doesn’t just trample on Kaley’s rights—it harms her clients, too. They don’t get the help they need or deserve when the government can censor Kaley’s words. That’s why we’re standing with Kaley against this unconstitutional law—all the way up to the Supreme Court, where her case is currently pending. Now, with less than 24 hours left in 2024, we’re asking you to stand with her, too. There are just hours left before our year-end deadline, and we are still short of our critical year-end $12.2 million goal. Meeting this goal helps us provide pro bono legal defense for clients like Kaley. It’s a steep goal—but we’re relying on God’s grace to work in the hearts of our ministry friends to get us there. Please give now to help us defend clients like Kaley. Your tax-deductible donation by 11:59 PM TONIGHT will be DOUBLED by a limited-time matching grant—but only while funds last. |
Your gift DOUBLED to defend freedom at the Supreme Court |
As you know, Kaley’s case is one of six cases we’ve asked the Supreme Court to hear this year. Recently, the Court agreed to hear one of those cases, Kerr v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. The case could determine whether pro-life states like South Carolina can direct taxpayer dollars away from abortion facilities.
This is a critical case—states should have the freedom to support healthcare facilities that don’t take innocent lives. Your gift by 11:59 PM TONIGHT will help us stand alongside each one of them—and the dozens of other clients we are currently representing. Will you make a final tax-deductible gift for freedom in 2024? Your gift will be DOUBLED while matching funds last! |
