Urgent Evacuations Prior to Gaza Entry

Dear supporter of Israel,

We are now at day 8 of the "Iron Swords" operation, in response to a vicious attack by Hamas. As Israel is preparing to enter Gaza, over 8,000 residents from 25 settlements have been forced to evacuate since the commencement of the conflict in the south. These families have been uprooted from their communities, leaving behind their homes and belongings amidst the chaos. Among them are the elderly and Holocaust survivors, many of whom have relatives who have been killed, are missing, or injured.

In response, Feed Israel has mobilized a dedicated team of volunteers who are working tirelessly to cook and distribute 1,000 hot meals daily to these families. Under the committed supervision of Uri Golan, a former army base commander with experience in food logistics, our volunteers are reaching out daily to distribute these meals, providing some comfort during these exceedingly difficult times.

Uri Golan shared the following, “The volunteers work with great sensitivity to allow the families some respite from the very difficult events that have befallen them. There's still a demand, and I hope in the coming days we will be able to increase the number of meals.”
