Upping the ante on juvenile offenders: District Attorney Jason Williams campaigned for office on a platform of not transferring juveniles to adult court, a pledge he scrapped in 2021, his first year in office. He has now requested the transfer of three times the number of teenagers that he did his first year in office, and he has done so almost as many times as his predecessor did in his last year in office.
