Letter from our President Hello CHAC Members, We had an excellent response and opportunity to interview several outstanding applicants for the CHAC’s Executive Director position. Applicants had a comprehensive first interview to discuss their past experiences and skill-sets. Selected applicants were advanced to a second interview where they shared their thoughts and optimism for CHAC’s future. After board members and staff weighted in on each prospect, we have arrived at our conclusion. We are excited and honored to announce our new executive director, Lucille Rivera. Lucille has been involved in non-profit organizations for the majority of her career, offering expertise to organizations such as Clínica Tepeyac, and has been a member of CHAC for many years (including being a board member in years past). She is currently active in the art of photography and has been showing her work at CHAC for the past 3 years. We are confident that Lucille will be an outstanding leader in this position and we look forward to working with her in continuing our mission to further educate and serve our community as well as to give our talented artists a platform to share their work. I encourage everyone to welcome Lucille into her new position at CHAC. We will be hosting a meet and greet event with Lucille in the near future. Announcement to come shortly.
