License to feel: Emoji plates arrive in Vermont There are plenty of ways to loudly express yourself with your car â like political bumper stickers or Jack-in-the-Box antenna balls â but nothing encapsulates how special you and your vehicle are more than custom plates. Unfortunately, youâre only allowed a limited amount of characters, which makes it tough to really speak your mind. But that might be changing soon, thanks to a bill submitted to the Vermont legislature that would allow drivers to put emojis on their vanity plates. If the bill passes, the state government will decide which emojis will be legal to use. Australia already allows the laugh out loud, wink, sunglasses, heart eyes and smile emojis. Could we get a cry laugh, thumbs down or middle finger emoji? Perhaps this can help reduce road rage, since nobody will need to flip each other off anymore! Road rage never pays. Seriously! Tap or click to see why road rage never ends well. â |
