By 15mhhm15
Try this cute and easy way for toddlers to decorate and make their own necklaces! All the supplies you'll need are probably already in your home - water bottle caps, some decorating supplies, string, hot glue, and a piercer (or you could use a drill/nail, something to make a hole in the cap).

Little ones will love this. It's such a ingenious, simple, and fun game to play. All you need is paper and scissors and you can throw a bit of colouring into the mix too. Indoors or outdoors, these little fishes are beautiful to watch as they spin through the air.

Cutout "MOM" Card for Mother's Day
By 15mhhm15
I made my mom this Mother's Day card. It is simple yet sweet because it's handmade. My mom isn't a fan of "real cut flowers", so I thought it would be cute to decorate this card with a flower/floral motif from a Macy's catalog that I was about to toss out anyway!

This handmade donut pin cushion is so cute, I just want to bite it! It's great for your sewing box to keep your pins in order, but you could also just make them as plush toys. To make the paper donut stencil, I traced a CD, cut it out smaller, but cut the center out bigger. You can make them whatever size you like.

How to Make a Paper Office Supplies Container
By katrine2706
An office inspection is announced to be held tomorrow. This is an urgent matter as the administrator is late of relaying the information to us. I need to clean up and arrange my table since pens, markers, and pencils are messing up my drawer. Here I made a paper box to put them all together.

Reuse Favorite T-shirts As A Quilt
By attosa
Through our teenage years, my brother and I went to hundreds of concerts. We've collected many a precious T-shirt while following our favorite bands on tours. Now we have outgrown them, but wanting to keep them alive for our memories, we've had our mother turn the T-shirts into quilts.

Mother's Day is around the corner. In school my son is making a Mother's Day project, but he came home wanting to make a card for me. Since I love planting and trees, he suggested a tree card with sparkles. We had heart stickers at home, so I thought that would be a cute touch as the leaves. You can't go wrong with a homemade Mother's Day card; as a sentimental touch it's his hand. :)

Deconstructing a King Size Comforter
By Sandi/Poor But Proud
It never occurred to me to post this until it was done. So I don't have any before photos. But you all know what a machine sewn flannel comforter looks like. Once I started to save the batting, I realized how cheaply it was made. Basically, one seam ripper in a few key places and it was RIP!

My friend's mother was gardening and got bitten by a hobo spider. Her arm puffed up and she was rushed to the hospital. I really wanted to get her some welcome home flowers, but what if she worried about critters being in there? I decided to make her these paper daisies. They are full of dimension and beautiful colours, and totally spider-free! All you need is some paper and a pair of scissors.

"Look and Find" bottles are great entertainment for long car rides! They are simple to make and you can make them small or large depending on your needs. The concept is simple, fill a bottle with rice and place a bunch of small objects into the bottle too.

Use scissors to remove flower blossoms from stems. For some stems, you may need to use wire cutters. Use straight pins to attach the flowers to the front and sides of the wreath. Completely cover the straw and place flower types and colors randomly to create a flower garden effect.

Every time I am at Goodwill I am always enticed by the big tubs of old utensils. So many of them have decorative handles and scream to be put to use again. I have no need for more silverware but I wanted to use them for crafts.
