Developing Statewide Comprehensive Transit Information Systems
Thursday, May 15, 3:00 PM 4:30 PM Eastern

State departments of transportation (DOTs) and metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) are working to improve how they collect, integrate, and present transit schedule data across multiple agencies within their regions. This webinar will discuss strategies for integrating diverse transit data into a single platform or centralized source. Different state DOTs and MPOs have different goals for this integration—ranging from data collection and analysis to enhancing traveler information—which result in varied approaches.

Remote Sensing and Drone Tools for Rural Road Resilience
Wednesday, June 11, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern

Low-volume roads in rural areas and developing countries are especially vulnerable to damage from increasingly intense storms. Rapidly assessing road conditions after severe weather events, designing them effectively, and managing them with accurate information can significantly improve their resilience and reduce life-cycle costs. This webinar will explore how remote sensing technologies can assist with road location, design, and condition assessments, particularly in remote and developing regions.
