Six Poets Laureate in One Event! 
Continue your celebration of Kentucky Writers' Day with PSPL as we host a reading by past Kentucky Poets Laureate Richard Taylor, Joe Survant, Frank X Walker, George Ella Lyon, Frederick Smock, and newly appointed Jeff Worley. Join us on Wednesday, April 24, at 2:00pm in the River Room for this event! 
Book Launch with Kim Michele Richardson
We are proud to host the official Kentucky book launch for Kim Michele Richardson’s new release, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek, on Thursday, May 9, at 6:00pm in the River Room. 

Inspired by the true blue-skinned people of Kentucky and the brave and dedicated Kentucky Pack Horse library service of the 1930’s, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is a story of raw courage, fierce strength, and one woman’s belief that books can carry us anywhere — even back home. 

Meet Richardson, a nationally-acclaimed and bestselling author, and listen as she reads from and discusses the new novel. A signing will follow with copies available for purchase from Poor Richard’s Books.
Documentaries for Earth Day
