Snowy Window or Mirror

By Holly

Snowy Window or Mirror - dresser mirror with snowflake designsOne winter, my mom came up to me with a twinkle in her eye and asked me to make snowflakes. It turns out, she wanted to cover the upstairs window with "frost" so that there could be more sun and privacy. It worked so well, it stayed up 'till spring, long after the snow on the ground thawed!

This Week's Questions
Bobbin Thread Loops Can Be Seen from Top of Item
I'm sewing on many different items and my white bobbin thread is showing onto my color thread on my item.
Feed Dogs Not Advancing Fabric
I have a New Home sewing machine model 672. It will not advance the material. I can sew by doing it by hand. The saw tooth advancing plate feels dull. I wonder if it should have sharper edges? Being a mechanical engineer, I looked over the advancing mechanism and it appears to be fine. I cannot find any wear on any other part.
Toyota Bobbin Shuttle Not Turning
I have a Toyota RS2000 sewing machine. The bobbin shuttle is not turning when sewing or when turning the handle manually. I have taken it apart and cleared everything out and adjusted the timing, but it still does not work. I can manually turn the mechanism and this turns freely. But I need to finish my dress for New Year so any ideas how to get this working would be greatly appreciated.

Singer Fashionmate 7256 Needle Won't Stay in Center Position
I recently found a Singer Fashionmate 7256 at a thrift store brand new for $20. All I thought I needed was a pressure foot. OK let's sew. It worked for a little while then the needle decided it didn't want to stay in the middle. Now it is to the left. I can push it, but it flings right back.
