Uber exec shares bad advice she received
Uber Chief Brand Officer Bozoma Saint John said in a recent interview that she followed bad advice early in her career, such as when a female executive told her to avoid wearing red nail polish or anything else that sent "a bold message." Following such counsel "would make me unproductive in what I do because I would be so focused on being quiet," she said.
