• U.S. stocks stage late-session recovery, financials, materials jump

    U.S. stocks battled back from losses with all three of the major averages closing with gains. Investors dipped back into the economically sensitive groups, including financials, materials and industrials, after President Biden teased his forthcoming infrastructure package. Boeing led the Dow’s nearly 200 point gain rising 3%.
