TX Whiskey, TX Bourbon, and the "Shots of Knowledge" Science Team!

Please join us at Reata on Wednesday, August 16th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for a whiskey tasting and science adventure featuring Fort Worth's TX Whiskey, TX Bourbon, and the "Shots of Knowledge" science team. Rob Arnold (Head Distiller, F&R Distilling Co.), Dr. Eric Simanek (Professor of Chemistry, TCU), and Dr. Mags Rittby (Professor of Physics, TCU) will guide us through the 13.8 billion year journey of whiskey-from the Big Bang and the creation of stars, onward to Earth and fields of grain, through distillation and barrel aging, and finally to our tasting! $55 per person before tax and gratuity. Appetizers and TX beverages are included in the price. The speakers will also be signing copies of their book "Shots of Knowledge: The Science of Whiskey", which can be purchased for an additional $35. Space is limited and reservations are required. Reata's Restaurant Week Starts Today!
August 7-13th, 2017

Reata Restaurant in Sundance Square will be offering a 3 course prix fixe dinner for just $39 per person (excludes tax and gratuity) and for every dinner sold, Reata will make a $7 donation to Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth.  Reata is not an official partner of CBS's "restaurant week", however we will be donating to the charity directly. Oktoberfest Fort Worth 2017 

Dust off your lederhosen, Oktoberfest Fort Worth is coming back to Panther Island Pavilion September 21 - 23! The three day festival, presented by Spaten, will stay true to the traditional, Munich-style Oktoberfest with authentic German food, music and entertainment.
 
For the second year Reata Haus will be offering a seated VIP Dinner featuring a German Feast at its finest!  This special VIP package includes a three-course meal with hearty entrée options of Pork Schnitzel, Guinness Infused Bratwurst or Roasted Chicken with Bacon Onion Gravy.  You will also received festival admission, a commemorative stein, VIP seating in an elevated air-conditioned restaurant area in Spaten Hall, non-alcoholic beverages and gratuity. Bier and wine will be available for purchase.
