Good morning, reader.

It’s understandable that lots of people consider bourbon and rye to be more appropriate for pensive, cold-weather sipping than for more raucous warm-weather affairs. They’re full of flavors and scents that call to mind other autumnal or wintry things: brown sugar, cinnamon, dried fruits, chocolate, etc.

But for us here at InsideHook, whiskey is very much a year-round drink. Amanda Gabriele already highlighted eight of them that are perfect for summer, and now she’s back with another seasonally appropriate endorsement: four whiskey punches you can (and should) make for a crowd. Try one this weekend and let me know how it goes?
