Happy Super Bowl Sunday from Los Angeles! I'm not going to the Big Game even though it's just a few miles from our house but I'm fortunate to have gone to two Super Bowls including what many consider the best one ever. Here are those stories.

I'm sure you've heard that the weather here has been unseasonably hot and today's game is set to be the hottest Super Bowl of all time. We've taken advantage of the good weather and gone to the beach multiple times and the kids love it. The NFL, Visit California and Tourism L.A. must be happy and let's hope today's game is a close one. I'm rooting for the Rams but I wouldn't be that bummed if the Bengals win.

American Airlines System Wide Upgrades
For those who are American Airlines elite frequent fliers, I noticed this week that I only had two system wide upgrades in my account so I emailed AA and guess what? They reinstated two that expired months ago so I now have until July 31 to use them. It just goes to show it never hurts to ask. Woo-hoo!
