Dear trade visitors, In preparation for ITB Berlin 2024, we would like to make sure that your journey to the exhibition grounds run as smoothly as possible. Strikes by the train drivers' union GDL and the Ver.di union representing Lufthansa ground personnel could lead to disruptions in travel, both on the German Railway, the Berlin S-Bahn, and air travel. Underground trains, trams and bus lines have not yet been affected by the strike. Private railways such as ODEG are running according to the timetable. | LUFTHANSA GROUND STAFF STRIKE | Due to a strike announced by the Ver.di union involving Lufthansa's ground staff, which will take place from Thursday, 7 March, starting at 4:00 AM, until Saturday, 9 March 2024, at 7:10 AM, disruptions in air traffic may occur. Flights may be canceled as a result - and there will also be a significant increase in traffic on the access roads. This could potentially affect your travel plans. | HOW TO GET TO ITB BERLIN DURING THE RAIL STRIKE | From Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER or different train stations to the exhibition grounds and back: Whether by public transport, transport service providers, car or shared mobility providers, we have summarized all the options for you. Please note that there may be travel restrictions due to the announced GDL strike. As a result, there can be more traffic on the roads. We therefore recommend planning your arrival well in advance and using alternative means of transport such as the underground or taxis to minimise delays as far as possible. Rail travelers should expect delays and train cancellations. This includes S-Bahn as well. Tips and information on how to make alternative arrangements for your journey can be found here:

| FLIXBUS AND FLIXTRAIN | The long-distance bus provider FlixBus offers a comfortable journey to and from the exhibition centre. The ZOB Berlin bus stop is located directly opposite the exhibition centre. The long-distance train provider FlixTrain offers trade fair visitors a comprehensive route network with daily connections within Germany to Berlin, including to the stations Berlin Hauptbahnhof, Berlin Südkreuz and Berlin-Spandau.
