Are you on a board or committee of management in Cockburn? Come along for a fun informative session on governance and best practice strategies for a well-functioning and effective board. This interactive workshop provides an overview of the legal obligations, committee roles and responsibilities of boards and management committees.

New volunteer position - Community Champions
The Community Development team are currently advertising voluntary roles for Community Champions. These are positions which are designed to promote City of Cockburn programs, events and information relevant to local residents.
Champions will be the first to know what's happening locally and be up-skilled and supported by the Community Development team to harness their networks and become strong communicators to keep their community informed. |

Community Eats - back in 2022
Share a meal and make connections with your local community in a safe and friendly environment at the Community Eats dinners. These are hosted by local groups once per month in Cooby and Yangebup.

Community Trailer Residents and groups can hire the Cockburn Community Trailer for free. Hire the whole trailer, or borrow specific items such as BBQs, fire extinguisher, marquee, bollards, trestles, chairs. |

Cockburn Community Grants - open mid-Feb
Are you in a not-for-profit group and seeking funding? This might be for an event, minor-capital works, workshop, promotion, incorporation, equipment, activities. Cockburn Community grants open in mid-February and close at the end of March. Find out if your group and project is eligible! |
