Members of Montgomery County's private school community say they were blindsided after the county ordered all private schools to remain closed through at least October 1.
The National Guard is expected to be mobilized in the Eastern Shore ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias. About 40 people will support local and state agencies in response to the storm.
