The Riverside resident was sleeping around 1 a.m. when a drunk driver jumped a power pole and barrelled through two residential yards before crashing into his house. The car eventually came to a stop, but not without pinning the poor man against his wall. Had the car gone a few feet further, the man would be toast. Instead, he woke up sandwiched between the hood of a car and his headboard. The drunk driver was arrested and the victim made it out with nothing more than a few minor injuries. Police even talked up how lucky the man was, so it’s probably in his best interest to buy a lottery ticket, stat!
