Apalis iMX8 and Colibri iMX6ULL with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth announced

Toradex is pleased to announce two upcoming SoMs based on NXP® i.MX 8QuadMax and NXP i.MX 6ULL - the Apalis iMX8 and Colibri iMX6ULL respectively. Apalis iMX8 offers high-performance and supreme graphics, making it ideal for Computer Vision applications. Colibri iMX6ULL offers a cost optimized and power efficient platform, along with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, targeting the emerging IoT and connected market.

Toradex products and exciting demos displayed at the Embedded World 2017

Toradex’s many interesting demos at Embedded World 2017 encompassed an eye-catching stairclimbing wheelchair by SCEWO - equipped with a Toradex Apalis iMX6 SoM - which demonstrates Toradex SoMs in safety-critical applications. Other engaging demos included TAQ, the balancing robot - featuring Toradex Colibri iMX7 with NXP i.MX 7 processor, a rover using the Apalis TK1 with the NVIDIA® TK1 to recognize street signs, and many more.

The highlight at the Qt booth was an insanely fast electric hypercar by RIMAC Automobile, powered by Apalis SoMs. Other Toradex demos included fast boot and a heterogeneous multicore system optimized for low power in IoT use cases with the Colibri iMX7.

At the Microsoft booth, Toradex demonstrated its multiplatform system connected to the Microsoft Azure IoT Hub – the Cloud Parking demo.

New Release: V2.0 Windows CE image and BSP for Tegra based modules

Release V2.0 of Windows Embedded CE 6 and Windows Embedded Compact 7 & 2013, BSP and image for Colibri T20/T30 and Apalis T30 modules. This release contains all changes from 2.0 beta 1 to 2.0 beta 4.

New Release: V1.9 of Toradex CE Libraries for NXP i.MX 6, Vybrid and NVIDIA Tegra based SoMs

Release V1.9 of Toradex software libraries for Windows Embedded CE 5 & 6, Windows Embedded Compact 7 & 2013. The libraries are available for Apalis T30 & iMX6, Colibri T30, T20, iMX6, VF61 & VF50.
