大切な友人とアートファンの皆様へ

日差しが強く暑い日が続く東京から、こんにちは。
東京にいる友人の皆さん、「杯音圏」に立ち寄って、冷たいビールを片手にアート鑑賞をしてみてはいかがでしょうか？

この数週間、TokyoDexはUltraSuperNew と共に、クリエイター達を集め、コラボレーションをしてきました。このプロジェクトの背景には、街の未来をかたどるような表現や、将来のコラボレーションのきっかけとなるような環境を創り上げたいという思いがありました。This&That Vol.29 での「シティー・シェイパーズ」のテーマを封切りに、バラエティーに富んだ様々なジャンルから、素晴らしいアーティスト達を集め、「杯音圏」ムーブメントを始動しました。そこから、原宿の「杯音圏」ポップアップ・スペースに毎週違うアーティストを招き、リレー式でアーティスト・コラボレーションの壁画制作が行われています。また、今回の「杯音圏」ポップアップ・スペースの外壁も Jay Shogoさんの作品になっております。今週金曜日には、 Jay Shogo さんのライブ・ペイントが行われ、壁画が完成する予定です。壁画の完成を祝うべく、DJ Yas さんや YOU THE ROCK★ さんなどのアーティストの方々が素晴らしい音を演出してくださいます。
入場は無料で、冷えたビールも無料提供しておりますので、是非この機会をお見逃しなく！
7/21 まで、平日夕方17時〜21時まで、毎日イベントがあります。
お仕事の後、是非「乾杯」をしにお立ち寄りください。

また先週はお台場でMINIと共に、BMW GROUP TOKYO BAYのオープニングに参加してきました。来場者にはアーティストのBAKIBAKIさんと共にブルーのMINIに絵を描いて頂き、澁谷忠臣さんには赤のMINIにペイントをして頂きました。土曜日は雨、日曜日は猛暑であったにも関わらず、結果的に楽しい時間を過ごすことができ、素晴らしい作品が出来上がりました。

Dear friends and fellow art enthusiasts,

Greetings from Tokyo where the heat of the scorching heat of the summer is upon us. For our friends in the city, why not stop by 杯音圏 (Hai-Ne-Ken) for a cold beer and some cool artwork?

For the past few weeks TokyoDex has been working together with UltraSuperNew to build a space where creators can come together and collaborate to shape the city together with new expressions and plant seeds for future collaborations. It all started with a soft launch at This&That Café Vol. 29 “City Shapers” where an eclectic and astounding pool of talent gathered together to kick off the movement. Then we brought in a new artist every week to cover the walls of a pop-up shop in Harajuku, each artist building on the creations of the last. This week on Friday night, it all culminates with a final live painting session by Jay Shogo, who also decorated the outside walls of the 杯音圏 space. The soundtrack for this celebration will be provided by none other than DJ Yas and YOU THE ROCK★ among others. Entrance is free and the first drink is on us, so don’t miss it! Weekday events are also going on through 7/21 for anyone who would like to join us for a post-work kampai from 5 to 9pm.

Last weekend took us to Odaiba to join MINI in the celebration of the opening of the new BMW GROUP TOKYO BAY in Odaiba. We invited visitors to join artist Bakibaki in hand-painting a blue MINI crossover while Tadaomi Shibuya painted a hawk on its red counterpart. Saturday we braved the rain, and Sunday the sweltering heat, but a great time was had by all and we think the finished work speaks for itself.
