Applications for the 5G for Change Hackathon, presented by Verizon, are due today, April 8th. This is the final chance for teams to apply! Through the 5G for Change Hackathon, we’re challenging our community to envision how to change the world through technology and make real-world impact together. The brief is simple: what do you want to fix? And how can 5G and the internet help you fix it? It’s wide open: the environment, healthcare, government, human and civil rights. It’s all up to you. Pitch Day: Teams will pitch in front of our expert judges on Friday, April 29th at Verizon’s 5G Lab in New York City. The Prize: The winning team will be announced on stage at the 26th Annual Webby Awards, give a hallmark 5-Word Speech and will win a $50,000 cash prize and the first-ever 5G for Change Webby Award.
